Just got my second lobes here today (£40 for the lobes), was my first piercing i have gotten with Pricking Thumbs and the whole experience was lovely, the shop is very cozy and welcoming and the piercers are very professional and thorough with how to look after the piercing and they covered everything that i needed to know, they sell a really good cleaning solution which is their own for £10 for aftercare which is in a really good sized bottle for the price. Will definitely use them again in the future for more piercings. :)

Really great piercing experience I had at pricking thumbs. It’s been a long time since I last had my ears pierced but I was put at ease by Meg. Super hygienic and some lovely pieces of jewellery to choose from at the shop. Thankyou.

Absolutely lovely people, fantastic service, was super clean. Felt very well looked after and also helped me with an older piercing too. Couldn't recommend them enough. (I got recommended and I see why).

Took my 8 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced and the service was great. She made my daughter feel relaxed and went through all the details. Would highly recommend for children’s first piercing and know friends who have also had great experiences too.

Having had a traumatic experience 3 years ago at a chain ear piercing in Westwood, which led to an A&E visit of tearing embedded earring out of the back of said ear... was advised to take my daughter to a tattoo and piercing parlour as they use a more effective piercing method which is more accurate and less susceptible to infections.
WE HAVE FOUND THE BEST!!!
Meg and hubby were great at navigating appointments and fitting us in for daughters birthday ear piercing! They have a sweet selection of earrings and use longer posts (allows for the swelling/healing process) plus absolute 💯 % new untouched sterile needling and disc backing. Daughter is very happy and Meg went out of her way to fit us in and ease her nerves before.
The tattoos are also phenomenal and they will be seeing us again!
Recommend anyone who wants a professional clean and safe environment.
And those piercing guns should be banned!
