A single lobe piercing on one ear lobe.
A pair of lobe piercings, 1 in each ear.

Two piercings linked by a single ring - a very unique piercing!
Perfect for something subtle the rook is nifty little piercing located in the nook behind the forward helix. In some cases anatomy allows for a double rook which is great for jewellery compilations.
A great alternative to a traditional rook!
The conch is a classic piercing, excellent for filling the open conclave of the ear. Perfect for a large statement piece of jewellery, rings (once healed) or even multiple piercings in the area!
A great alternative to a helix for those with a foldier ear rim, the flat / outer conch is a brilliant gap filler and statement piercing, with loads of suitable jewellery upgrades available!
The tragus is a great area for a statement piece of jewellery, or if your anatomy allows treat yourself to a double tragus for extra pizzazz.
Often overlooked, the anti tragus is a really fun piercing that is located above the lobe opposite the traditional tragus. It’s shape allows for a double ended bar meaning extra sparkles can be added on both ends should you choose!
Rumoured to help with migraines and headaches the daith in another excellent piercing for filling the open conclave of the ear. Perfect for a statement ring , and often counter balanced with a conch in the opposite ear for ear mapping projects.
The helix runs along the rim of the ear starting from the top of the lobe and ending as the ear curves towards the head becoming the forward helix. The helix is very popular and suitable for many varieties of jewellery styles.
This piercing is placed vertically through the ear hood rather than straight out the back like a traditional helix. Great for those unable to have industrial piercings or who want to add some pizzazz to the top of the ear.

Ear Curation or Ear Mapping provides you with a personalised design for your ear. This is perfect if you want lots of piercings but are not sure what to have, or if you’d like a collection of matching jewellery placed thoughtfully in your ear.
During the consultation at the studio, you will chat with our piercer Meg about your colour scheme/theme and any piercings you want to avoid or include (or you can leave this totally up to Meg!), as well as your budget if you have one. Meg will also photograph your ears in order to create a personalised digital design, as well as to assess your anatomy so that she can plan your look to suit your ear shape! Within 7 days of your consultation you will receive the design, and once any alterations have been made and your design is PERFECT you will be provided with a price for the whole project which can either be paid in full or spread across a payment plan to suit you. The £10 you have paid for your consultation will also be deducted from the total of your project when you book it in.

Anatomy dependant, the tongue piercing can be a real fun one! Based on your vein patterns a really cool tongue project is always possible. This is the traditional single central piercing, and one of the most popular ones here at Pricking Thumbs.

Located on the pelvic mound, the Christina is a nice introduction to genital piercings if you don't want to go straight for a VCH. Jewellery is similar in variety to naval piercings.
More intimate than the Christina, the VCH goes through the clitoral hood and has been known to increase sensitivity in the area. Jewellery is similar in variety to naval piercings.

Wonderful experience at Pricking Thumbs. Went in for a floating navel. Meg was so professional and explained everything as she was doing it. The studio was super clean and tidy. Really great service and would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a piercing.

Meg was amazing, I was very nervous for the piercing but everything was talked through perfectly and any extra steps needed for the piercing to get done were taken with nothing but patience and kindness.
